How to set up a daily spread?

What are daily spreads?

A daily spread helps you keep a detailed account of your plans for the day. This spread works best for someone with a busy schedule or for someone who likes to write a lot each day as there is ample space for everything you want to note down.

🌟 PRO TIP - You can set up an entire journal with just daily layouts and if you’re using it for self-care you can skip putting in the dates until you get to your journal when you need it. This reduces the pressure to journal every day if it feels like too much and you won’t have to worry about unfilled days.

What does a daily spread look like?

It differs based on what you’re going to use it for. I’ve split it into two categories to explain it better.

A productivity-focused daily spread usually has an hourly schedule, to-do lists / small sections to use for notes/reminders / appointments, trackers for water intake/periods / etc

A self-care-focused daily spread usually has sections for gratitude / daily intentions / looking forward to / happy memories / what went wrong and what you learnt / what’s on your mind/goals for the next day / etc.

🌟 PRO TIP: There’s no right or wrong way to journal! The best part about setting up your spreads is that you can mix and match sections to suit your needs!
