Pencil and eraser are good, tweezers, ruler is unbendable. The kneadable eraser is not impressive and the brush sign pen takes a bit to dry. Tombows also smudge when used with a ruler, seems like it's a long process to work with them. Some instructions for using the pens would be useful to the beginners too.
I’m new to journaling and didn’t know what writing items people used. I’m happy this starter kit is available, takes out a lot of the guesswork.
Great starter set! Came with way more than I expected! Very excited to test out the pens. The tweezers are perfect for sticker placement, the pencil and flexible eraser are great for planning, and the ruler allows me to tear the washi cleanly.

The set i didn't know I needed, what a game changer the tweezer are I can actually see where I'm placing a stickers and I love the ruler it makes life easier. The pens and pencil are amazing so smooth.
Such a great starter set for any beginner or anyone looking to build their journal supplies. The writing utensils are a great mix of line sizing and the gold sticker tool is such a nice quality. The ruler is a great size and a nice thickness. Just be aware the ruler is only 6 inches so if you have an 8 inch journal it doesn’t quite reach the entire way to draw a continuous straight line.
I love that this is sold as a set! My only suggestion is to add some sort of guide for us newbies that tells us more about each product and what they’re best for.
It’s a nice set and enjoy them for my journal.

This starter tool set came in a nice cute pouch. The ruler is so cute and it is thinner than her other acrylic rulers, which I like! I got the white tweezers which is so pretty and elegant and the matte finish really doesn't damage the stickers when using. The pens are really great too! What a good deal

So grateful for these starter tools. The tweezers, fine liners, and the ruler are used literally any time I start stickering/planning. I’m not a professional with that brush tip yet, but it’s a really great starter pen. And the pencil is useful for sketching out ideas before finalizing plans. All things considered, this is a great deal for great quality tools.

I attended a daily planner class at the Toronto location and they had us use these starter packs. I bought a pack for myself right after the class since they were so useful. The pens are great quality. The grey marker is the perfect light shade for highlighting every other line and making my planner look organized and intentional.
I can handle the tweezers pretty well. They don’t hurt my hand when I use them for an extended amount of time.
