You're Invited! Slumber Party Journal Spreads for October

Hey friends! Put on your comfiest pyjamas, because October is a sleepover. Our Slumber Party theme is all sleepy bunnies, midnight snackies, and soft pastel everything, and our amazing artist Sabitha brought it to life with a party invitation cover, a cozy monthly, a quilted mood tracker, and a sweet little weekly. Below, I'm breaking down each spread so you can set up your own, plus some of the dreamiest pages from our community.

This post covers four of Sabitha's spreads, but the video has even more, including four extra weekly layouts to carry you through the rest of the month. Watch the full tutorial on our YouTube channel for every stroke and sticker placement, with chapters so you can jump straight to the spread you want to make. 👇

🖊️ Tools Used
💌 You're Invited Cover Page

Every good slumber party starts with an invitation, and that's exactly what this cover is. Sabitha started with the ribbon: she found the centre of the page, drew a wavy pink ribbon frame with a little bow at the top, then filled the background around it with soft vertical stripes in 620 Lilac. To finish, she outlined the ribbon with a MONO #1, mixing solid and dotted lines for that hand-drawn look. Inside the fame, "you're invited to the" is hand-lettered above the October header sticker, with "Slumber Party" in small, spaced-out capitals underneath.

Then comes what Sabitha calls the fun part: filling the invitation with party guests. Bunnies in sleep masks, cuddling pillows, and munching pizza sit beside the "Time to Relax," "Midnight Snackies," and "Good Night!" word stickers. Stars, clouds, and little doodled confetti squiggles fill up the empty space around them. Swap in your own favourite phrases or keep it minimal. It's your party!

🗓️ Monthly Spread + Gratitude Log

The same 620 Lilac stripes carry across both pages here as a backdrop for the whole spread. October starts on a Thursday and has five weeks, so the Monday-start grid only needs five rows, with rounded outer corners. Pastel day-of-week labels and colourful date circle stickers make it quick to set up and super easy to read. Up top, the October header is joined by Sabitha's very own pyjama party essentials: fuzzy slippers, a crescent moon, and a sleep mask.

On the far right is a tall "I'm grateful for" panel for a little nightly reflection. Sabitha filled it with soft pink lines, light enough that you can write right on top and still read everything clearly. A bunny in a sleep mask peeks up from the bottom corner. Prefer a Sunday start or a different colour for your gratitude log? Shift the grid and make it yours.

🛏️ Mood Tracker + Habit Trackers

It's a slumber party, so of course the mood tracker is a quilted blanket! Each puffy patchwork square is one day of the month, and a bunny in a cucumber face mask is tucked in for the night beside a sleepy moon in a nightcap. The easiest way to use it, Sabitha says, is to pick one colour for each mood. By the end of October, your blanket turns into a patchwork of different colours. The mood key sits right in the quilt's bottom row, with a little face for each feeling, and the title is spelled out in playful mixed letter stickers.

On the opposite page, the ribbon frame from the cover makes a comeback, this time holding six habit tracker stickers from the kit in purple, yellow, mint, and pink. Sabitha marks out where each sticker will go first, so all six fit neatly inside the frame. Mix grid and dot styles to track daily and weekly habits side by side. And don't stress about perfect lines: a wobbly quilt square only makes it cozier!

🌙 First Weekly Spread

The first week of October only has four days, so Sabitha kept this weekly simple. The left page is filled up by the adorable Slumber Party journaling card that comes with every subscription. On the right, she divided the page into four sections for Thursday through Sunday, inside a rounded box topped with lavender stripes and the October header. Each day gets a label sticker, a date sticker, and a bunny friend on the right to keep you company.

It's simple, quick, and leaves plenty of room to write, perfect for a busy week. No journaling card? Swap in a photo or a journaling page instead.

There is still more!

One weekly is never enough for a whole month of sleepovers! In the full tutorial, Sabitha sets up four more weekly spreads, each with its own layout, so you can pick your favourite or rotate through them all October long.

❤️ Your Slumber Party Spreads That Inspired Us!

Our community had so much fun with the Slumber Party theme. You turned blankets, bedrooms, and even whole houses into the dreamiest October pages.

Teresa F. turned the entire monthly into a giant patchwork quilt draped over a bed, drawn in perspective so it spills right across both pages. Each quilt square doubles as a calendar day, with day labels on little tabs along the top edge, while a sleepy bunny on the pillow and a cucumber-mask bunny in the corner complete the scene. It's such a clever way to make a monthly feel like a cozy moment.

Letty M. built a full dollhouse in a ring planner, with a scalloped pastel roof and four floors, each hosting its own bunny scene: snacks on the rug, a nap in bed, a bubble bath, and a spa day. The staircases and tiny windows along the side make it feel like you could peek into every room, and the October header along the bottom ties it all together beautifully.

Lynn M.'s vertical weekly shows just how functional this kit can be. Each day's column is anchored by stamp-stickers from the variety sticker pack, with pastel confetti dashes scattered across the page. This lovely layout leaves plenty of room for real-life plans like garbage day and a Halloween party! The "Weekend" banner stretched across Saturday is such a fun finishing touch.

✨ Let's Keep the Slumber Party Going!

All the stickers used in these spreads are part of the Slumber Party collection, so you can recreate these pages or mix and match pieces to fit your planner style.
