Here is a monthly spread tutorial with our Sweets Shop theme - Read on to find out how easy it is to set up a journal page with our stickers!
WHAT I USED
- Sweets Shop Collection
- Pink brush pen (Tombow dual brush pen)
- Black marker
- Thin black pen
- Pencil
These materials were what I used for reference, but you may use any supplies you have on hand :)
I’ve been craving a lot of sweets lately which inspired this month’s theme Sweets Shop!
So let’s draw some shops to house the sections on our monthly page!
Using a pencil, let’s mark each section leaving some space at the top. I’m placing mine roughly in the middle spanning both pages. You can place it anywhere you like or even make it smaller. If you need more sections, you can also add a whole row of shops!
Next, let’s draw an awning on top of each section and outline everything with a black marker.
To add some colour to the awning let’s add some stripes using a brush pen.
Tip: Draw the stripes towards the sides of the awning curved and the ones in the middle straight. Gradually connect them and you will have a 3D effect!
Let’s add the days, dates and month using the journaling kit. You can also write these out if you prefer!
Next let’s complete any other sections on the page. I’m adding a title and some stickers for each task on my to-do list.
To finish up let’s add some stickers to fill up any empty spots and we’re all done!
