Here is a monthly spread tutorial with our Magic Castle theme - Read on to find out how easy it is to set up a journal page with our stickers!
WHAT I USED
- Magic Castle Collection
- Green brush pen (Tombow dual brush pen)
- Grey brush pen (Tombow dual brush pen)
- Black marker
- Staedtler HB pencil
These materials were what I used for reference, but you may use any supplies you have on hand :)
December always brings some magic with it and this time it’s filled with dragons, unicorns and all things magical! Keeping with the theme, let’s turn castles into our monthly spread!
To start, let’s use a pencil to sketch the layout and draw some grass at the bottom. Next, let’s draw one tower for each section and add battlements on top of each tower.
I’m using one eacg for the monthly grid and to-do list. Draw as many towers as you need for all your sections and you can also add some extra details like windows or doors!
Once you’re happy with the placement of everything, let’s go over it with a marker.
Next, let’s colour in the grass with a green brush pen. Using a grey brush pen, let’s draw some stones for more detail and colour in the window sill.
Using your favourite pens or with our journaling set, let’s add the days and dates! I’m also adding a small Holly sticker for Christmas!
Finally, let’s add some knights on the battlements, dragons flying around and some princesses at the windows to make the spread more magical!
And there’s our monthly spread for December! Hope you guys find this helpful!
