Here is a monthly spread tutorial with our Lemonade Party theme - Read on to find out how easy it is to set up a journal page with our stickers!

• Yellow brush pen (Tombow dual brush pen)
• Orange brush pen (Tombow dual brush pen)
• Green brush pen (Tombow dual brush pen)
• Staedtler HB pencil
• Tombow MONO Drawing pen

These materials were what I used for reference, but you may use any supplies you have on hand :)

Lemons are very refreshing and they easily brighten up any summer day! So let’s have them brighten up our journals too!

Start off by marking out the monthly grid with a pencil. Each box is 5x5 dots in size and since the grid is spanning both pages lets have a 5x5 grid on the left and extend it with a 2x5 grid on the right to fit in all the days of the week. This is how I made my grid, but feel free to make it smaller, bigger or any way you like :)

Keeping with the theme I’m going to draw a lemonade stand on the left as a to-do list. Draw an awning on top and a small bar at the bottom for the stand and now we can use the space in between for our to-do list!

Again, feel free to switch it out for anything you feel like adding in!

Next, let’s draw some lemons to fill up the space left at the top and bottom of the page. Using a Washi Tape as a stencil, draw half circles wherever you want your lemons. Next, draw a smaller circle within and divide up the circle like a pie.

And we're all done sketching!

Once you are happy with where everything is placed, go over it with a black marker. For the lemons, use the pie lines to draw the wedges. 

Next, let’s colour the lemons with a yellow brush pen. You can also turn them into grapefruits, limes or oranges by using different colours!

Let’s fill up the month with the journaling set.

Getting to the to-do list, colour alternate lines in the awning with an orange brush pen or any colour of your choice and use the same colour for the stand too. To make the stand look less empty draw alternating lines where the list is supposed to go.

Once everything is in place, let’s add some leaves for the fruits and colour it green.

As a final touch let’s add a few stickers wherever there are empty spots and that’s it!
