I purchased this for my 14-year-old daughter as a gift and she absolutely loved it. The intent was for it to be an actual advent calendar but we got caught in the postal strike so it arrived a little late (no fault of Hubman and Chubgirl). It did arrive before Christmas and my daughter had a fun afternoon of catching up on the items. I have to say that it was beautifully packed -- not a wasted bit of space and no oversized or wasteful packaging. Well done!
Every single item was a hit. The items are beautiful, very high quality, and useful. My original thought was it was a bit of a splurge but now that I've seen the quality, it is totally worth every penny. I also love the gingerbread house itself and that it can continue to be used as a storage container. It's seriously cute.

I got this for my parents after my mom ordered a dud advent calendar. They were still so hopeful they would get something nice from it, it broke my heart so I decided to get them one that was better. This did not disappoint! My dad is end stages of COPD, and each Christmas is special with him still here, so to see his eyes light up with each envelope was great! And my mom was a huge fan of the cute designs and functionality of the house and characters! We were missing an envelope and were able to request it, and it arrived quickly and in good condition! 100/10!!!
